because of course you are.
It's not that the joke is funny,
it's just that it's so you.
I can feel you next to me,
even though we're miles apart.
And I picture you smiling,
that quiet tilt of your mouth,
like you know something the universe forgot to tell me.
It’s nothing,
just a handful of words across a screen.
But it's everything.
You’re there.
And that’s all I need tonight.
