Quantum Physics Is Weird

A blur of probabilities
wrapped around protons,
kaleidoscope of eigenstates
under Schrödinger's veil.

No orbit –
not like planets,
or moons tugged by gravity.

Emits no light,
sheds no energy,
can't spiral inward,
nowhere to fall.

Bound not by friction
but Pauli exclusion,
Heisenberg haze
in quantized spacetime.

Superpositioned system
in perfect obedience
to the weirdness of laws
we've yet to unravel.
